New Jersey Redevelopment Authority (NJRA)
The NJRA operates a Training Institute (TI), established in 2006, which delivers intensive, intermediate-level courses focused on redevelopment and real estate development fundamentals. These workshops cover technical and practical topics such as project finance, tax abatements, redevelopment planning law, tax credits, CDBG/Home funds, and more. Classes use a case-study approach and are offered in half-day, full-day, or multi-day formats. TI is tailored to nonprofit and for-profit developers, municipal staff, consultants, licensed practitioners, and other stakeholders in urban redevelopment so that participants can deepen their knowledge and engage more effectively in local development projects.
